By now, nobody could have missed that the biggest inspiration for this spring/summer is the 70s.Although moulded in a fresh new shape, there's still that familiarity of the high-rise waists, straight long hair, wide-legged trousers and big glamorous sunglasses.
Salvatore Ferragamo's (left) interpretation of the 70s is a smooth, classic cool woman with a globetrotter-worthy style. The outfit is still a bit of a clash between ages since it brings along the 3/4-length arms of a short cropped jacket, typical for the 60's.
There's a distinct feel of masculinity meets femininity aswell.
All in all - timeless and effortlessly cool.
On the right is a picture of Will Ferrell's character Jackie Moon, from recent movie release Semi-Pro. Hopefully this outfit will stay in the fictional world of sports comedy and never ever again make it's way out in public.
He looks kinda funky though.
